Our Mission

The Marietta Jets, established in 2020, have dedicated themselves to serving and enriching the Marietta community. Their primary objective is to cultivate a robust foundation of character, responsibility, and respect among the youth, extending their influence beyond the realm of swimming. The Marietta Jets take immense pride in their collaborative partnerships with organizations like MUST Ministries.
A team that serves together wins together!
Our Coaches

Juan Yegros
Founder/Head CoachCoach Juan grew up in the world of swimming, having been a national and international swimmer (representing Guatamala) in renowned competitions such as CCCAN and Camex. Не comes by coaching honestly – his father Coach Juan Yegros, Sr. is well known in the industry for building swim teams and national programs in several Latin American countries.
Coach Juan’s primary goal is to build character and responsibility among the youth of our community through his swim program, the foundation of which is a strong family-oriented spirit. To know Coach Juan is to love him – he is a Big Personality with an equally Big Heart. He pours ALL of his energy into his swimmers and pushes them passionately to meet and exceed even their own highest expectations. His expansive energy and booming encouragement inspires all of his swimmers to work harder, do more, and be better – both in the water and out.

Teresa Kwiatkowski
Platinum Lead CoachCoach Teresa has been swimming literally all of her life and coaching for various teams throughout the last 12 years, most recently for Allatoona High School. Her primary goal as a coach is to build a love for swimming! She loves to work with each swimmer to build a strong foundation of skills both in the pool as well as in everyday life.
Her genuine connection with the kids demonstrates that she is one of your swimmer’s biggest fans!

Emily Hobel
CAC Lead CoachEmily Hobel is a former competitive swimmer, culminating with being an NCAA All-American swimmer at Ohio University, and qualifier for the 2000 US Olympic Trials. She has coached all around the country and even in South Korea, coaching at the club, high school, and masters levels. Emily’s favorite place is the pool, and loves getting other kids to enjoy swimming as much as she does. She lives in Marietta with her husband and two kids, including Kate who swims on the Jets. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming (of course!), traveling, playing games, and attending NKOTB concerts.
Tom Keer
Bronze Lead CoachTom Keer has over 50 years of swim experience, 40 of which as a coach. He began his coaching career after competing at the collegiate level for 4 years at Southern Connecticut State University.
