USA SWIMMING

USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States. Membership is comprised of swimmers of every age and ability, all the way up to the Olympic Team, as well as coaches, officials, and volunteers. Club teams are the heart of USA Swimming. There are over 3,100 clubs servicing 400,000+ members.

Local Swim Committees (LSCs) are groups that act as representatives for specific swimming communities throughout the country. The 59 LSCs across 4 Zones (ours is the “Southern” zone) are tasked with registering members, scheduling competitions, and leading clubs on behalf of USA Swimming. 

The Marietta JETS belong to the Georgia Swimming LSC, who runs and organizes all of the meets in which our swimmers compete. EVERY swimmer who participates in ANY meets must maintain a USA Swimming membership. The features and benefits of the different athlete membership levels can be found online.
